How it works
Four steps. No developer.
Tracking made so simple anyone can do it. Add one line, share smarter links, see the whole path, then send real sales to Meta.
- Set up in minutes
- No coding
- Private by default
A demo in four steps: someone taps the short link go.junipercandle.shop/bio in an Instagram bio, visits /shop/spring-candles, buys for $48, the sale is credited to the bio link, and Sporetag sends it to Meta.
Your ad platform sees only part of the story.
Each platform reports on its own ads, from its own pixel. Everything around it goes dark.

Texts, emails, bios
No ad platform sees the links you share yourself.

Better data
Same ads. Now you see every sale.
- Sales on another day or from an email
- Sales from texts and bio links
- Credit by first touch or last touch, your pick
- Day 0Tapped your bio link on Instagram
- Day 1Opened your spring sale email
- Day 3Came back from a text message link
- Day 3Bought a gift set, $64
- Day 31Bought again, $48
Example journey. Demo data.
The gap
One buyer. Five touches. One tool that saw it all.
A link tool stops at the tap. An ad platform sees its own ad. Sporetag follows one person from the first tap to the last order.
- Every tap on a short link
- Every visit, with its source
- Every sale, tied back
The four steps
From one line to real sales.
These are the real screens in the app. Most people finish in one sitting.
-
Step 01: Add one line
Paste one line on your site.
- Add your website address. We fill in the rest.
- Pick your site builder. Copy the line it shows.
- Open your site once. The check turns green.

- Paste the page. Pick where you will share it.
- SMS, email, a bio or an ad. The tags fill in.

Who gets the credit
Same journey. Two fair answers.
A buyer tapped your bio link, read an email, then bought from a text. The report lets you pick how to credit it.
First touch
Instagram bio link
Where they first came from. Good for finding new buyers.
Last touch
Text message link
The visit right before they bought. Good for what closes the sale.
Send sales back
Meta learns from real sales.
When a goal is reached, Sporetag sends it to the Meta Conversions API from our server. On Solo, Studio, Agency and Custom.
- The event, its value and the page
- The click id from the ad, so Meta can match it
- An event id, so Meta counts it once
- Email and phone only when you send them, hashed first
| When | Event | Status |

Private by default.
Every site starts in Private mode. You choose when a site needs more.
Default
Private mode
- No cookies, nothing stored in the browser
- No banner needed in most places
- Counts each visitor once a day
Paid plans
Attribution mode
- A first-party id on your own domain, for 90 days
- A sale on day 3 ties back to the click on day 1
- You control consent; it can wait for a yes
Our promise
30 days to decide. Or your money back.
If Sporetag is not right for you, ask within 30 days of your first payment. We refund it in full. No questions asked.
- Cancel any time in Billing
- Export your data as CSV
- Free plan with no card
Questions, answered.
Do I need a developer?
No. You copy one line and paste it where your site builder says. Short links need no setup at all.
What is a UTM tag?
A label at the end of a link, like ?utm_source=sms. It tells Sporetag where a click came from. The chips on the link form add them for you.
What is first touch and last touch?
Two ways to give credit for a sale. First touch credits where the person first came from. Last touch credits the visit right before they bought. You can switch between them in the report.
How does the Meta connection work?
You paste your pixel id and an access token from Meta, then tick the goals to send. Sporetag sends them to the Meta Conversions API from our server. It is on Solo, Studio, Agency and Custom.
Do I need a cookie banner?
Not for Private mode, the default. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in the browser. Attribution mode keeps an id for 90 days, so in many places it needs consent first.
What if a sale happens days later?
In Attribution mode, Sporetag keeps a first-party id on your own domain for 90 days. A sale on day 9 still ties back to the click on day 1.
