How we check
- Every 15 minutes Sporetag loads the tag file, sends a test event (kept out of everyone's stats), follows a short link without counting a click, writes to and reads from the database, runs a stats query, and checks that email and billing are set up.
- The checks run inside Cloudflare, where Sporetag runs. They do not test from your network, so a problem between you and Cloudflare may not show here.
- Uptime counts the checks that ran. A day without checks shows as no data, not as up.
- We write incidents by hand, so the first update can lag the checks by a few minutes.
