See what is tracking a website.

Type a website address. We read its home page and list every analytics and ad tag we can see.

Questions, answered.

What does the tag checker look at?

It loads the home page once, the way a browser first receives it, and looks for the script addresses and snippets each tool prints in its install guide. It does not run the page or click anything.

Why is a tag I installed missing?

Tags added inside Google Tag Manager, or loaded only after a visitor accepts a cookie banner, are not in the page as it is sent. So this check cannot see them. Also check that the change was saved and published.

Is it safe to check a client site?

Yes. It makes one ordinary request, like a visitor would. Nothing is stored about the site, and nothing is sent to the site but that request.

Why does the measurement id matter?

An old or wrong id sends a site's visits to someone else's account. Compare the id here with the one in your analytics settings.

See where every visit comes from.

Sporetag adds one line to the site. Then every visit, link and sale shows on one page.
