How many visitors does your analytics miss?

Ad blockers stop many analytics tags from loading. Those visitors never show in your reports. Put in your numbers to estimate the gap.

Real visitors, estimated14,184a month

10,000 × 29.5% ÷ (100% - 29.5%) = 4,184

An estimate from your inputs, not a measurement. GWI found that 29.5% of internet users worldwide use an ad blocker at least sometimes (Q2 2025). Backlinko: ad blocker usage, GWI data, checked October 2026.

An estimate is a start. A week of two tools side by side gives you the real gap.

  1. 01Keep your current tool. Change nothing about it.
  2. 02Add a second one. The Sporetag free plan covers one site.
  3. 03Wait 7 days. Then compare visitors for the same days and pages.

Questions, answered.

Where does the starting number come from?

GWI found that 29.5% of internet users worldwide use an ad blocker at least sometimes (Q2 2025). It counts people who block ads, not analytics. Not every ad blocker stops analytics, so the real share for your site may be lower. Change it to your own number.

How do I find my real number?

Run a second tool next to your current one for 7 days, on the same pages. Compare visitors for the same days. A gap of a few percent is normal, since tools count visits in different ways. A big gap is visitors one tool misses.

Can Sporetag be blocked too?

Yes. Any script can be. On Solo and up, the script proxy serves Sporetag from your own domain, so lists that block known tracker addresses do not match it. Server events from the Events API are not blocked by the browser at all.

Is anything I type sent anywhere?

No. The math runs in your browser.
