Install on Squarespace

You paste one line from Sporetag into Squarespace's Code Injection panel. It takes about three minutes.

Before you start

Copy your tag. In Sporetag, open Set up your site, or open your site's Settings. Your tag looks like this, with your own address:

Steps

1. Open the Code Injection panel. In most sites it is under Pages, then Website Tools.
2. Paste the tag into the Header box.
3. Click Save.

Check it works

Go back to Sporetag. On the last setup step, click Check my site. Then open your site in a new tab. Your first visit shows up in a minute or two.

Good to know

• Squarespace offers Code Injection on its Core, Plus and Advanced plans.
• Squarespace checkout pages do not run injected code, so Sporetag does not count them.
• A site with a password or that is not published yet cannot be checked from outside. Open it yourself and wait for the first visit.
