The partner program
For agencies on Studio and Agency. Get listed, earn a month of credit for each client that pays, and get help with your first three client sites.
On this page
The partner program is for agencies on Studio and Agency. It has three parts:
- A listing on sporetag.com/partners.
- A month of credit for each business that signs up through your link and pays for its own plan.
- Setup help for your first three client sites, on a call with us.
Credit lowers your Sporetag invoices. It is never paid out as cash.
Apply
- Open Settings, then Partner.
- Fill in your agency name, city, website, the kinds of clients you serve and one short line. A logo is optional: PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 256 KB. Without one, the listing shows your name only.
- Tick that you agree to be listed, then click Apply.
We check each agency by hand and email you when it is listed. Until then you can change your details on the same page. Once you are listed, write to hello@sporetag.com to change or remove the listing.
Your referral link
Once you are listed, Settings, Partner shows your link. It looks like https://sporetag.com/r/your-agency.
When someone opens it, Sporetag keeps your code in a cookie on their browser for 90 days, then shows the sign-up page. If they create an account in that browser within the 90 days, the account counts as your referral. If they open another partner's link after yours, the last link counts.
The page shows three numbers:
- Sign-ups: accounts made through your link.
- Paying clients: those that have paid for their own plan.
- Credit earned: the credit already on your account, and when the next one is due.
These are counts only. Sporetag never shows you who signed up.
How credit works
- A business signs up through your link and starts its own paid plan. A free trial does not count until its first real payment.
- We wait 30 days from that first payment. That is the length of our money-back promise.
- If the payment was not refunded or disputed, one month of your own plan goes on your account as credit: the monthly price, or a twelfth of the yearly price. You get an email titled "Your referral earned a month".
- Stripe takes the credit off your next invoice.
Each business earns credit once, ever. If its first payment is refunded or disputed, there is no credit.
You need to be on a paid Studio or Agency plan when a credit is due. If you are not, that credit lapses.
What does not count
- Your own accounts: the same account, the same Stripe customer (the billing record Stripe keeps for an account), or an email at the same domain as yours. If your address is
you@youragency.com, a sign-up fromanyone@youragency.comdoes not count. - Accounts made before someone opened your link.
- Client logins you invite to a site. They are not accounts of their own.
Setup help
We set up your first three client sites with you, on a call.
- Open Settings, then Partner, and click Book a setup call.
- The form comes filled in as a partner request. Add the client's website and anything we should know.
- We reply within one business day with a time.
The page shows how many of the three are left.
Leaving
Write to hello@sporetag.com and we take the listing down. Your link stops working. Credit for clients who already paid still comes when it is due.
The full rules are in the partner terms, which are a draft until the legal entity behind Sporetag is named.
